In this timelaspe video created by artist Jorge Carvajal, bass clarinet creatures come to life through a live drawing process. This video accompanied a live performance of Black by Marc Mellits, for two bass clarinets. It was featured in an interactive performance called Music in Motion, premiered at Lawrence University in July 2026.

Artist Caroline Chu created this motion video design (excerpt) to accompany a live performance of An Object In Motion, the first movement of Joe Moore’s trio for flute, clarinet, and percussion. This piece is inspired by Sir Isaac Newton’s laws of motion, and was included in an interactive concert called Music In Motion, which premiered at Lawrence University in July 2026.

Artists Doug Fitch and Tommy Nguyen from Puppetual Motion created this animated video to accompany a live performance of Toy Bricks by Paul Wiancko. (Recorded musicians in this video include: Elisa Barston, violin, Kevin Krentz and Paul Wiancko, cello, and Travis Gore, double bass).

These images were inspired by music of Felix Mendelssohn, Sufjan Stevens, Jessie Montgomery, and Thomas Tallis, performed live with poetry by Jennifer Wynn. This concert was performed by musicians of The Knights, and was co-presented by The Knights, GatherNYC, and WQXR.   

Educator and entrepreneur Jennifer Wynn wrote original poetry for a concert titled Play Out!, with each poem representing a different human emotion. Her work was inspired by music of Felix Mendelssohn, Sufjan Stevens, Jessie Montgomery, and Thomas Tallis, as well as the illustrations of Jorge Carvajal. This concert was performed by musicians of The Knights, and was co-presented by The Knights, GatherNYC, and WQXR.

Juilliard Pre-College student Asha Melvani composed Windchimes in 2024 for cello and bass, for a program titled Game On! Playful Interactions of the Cello and Bass. Performed by Caitlin Sullivan, cello, and Lizzie Burns, bass, at the Queens Museum / WQXR Classical Kids Fair.
